The Transmission Operator will ensure continuity of on-air schedules in a dynamic environment. Maintain and manipulate required on air playlists, execute program/ commercial/ marketing changes.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manipulate required on-air playlists, execute program/ commercial/ marketing changes
• Support live-event and off-air workflows, send logs for reconciliation, and troubleshoot channel playout issues
• Manage commercial integration, including rolling commercial breaks, during taped and live programming.
• Monitor and maintain the continuity and availability for channel streams in the MCR.
• Ensure continuity of programming by confirming that every piece of material is accounted for and ready for on-air play-out.
Competencies
• University Degree in telecommunication engineering is required or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic comprehension of analog, SDI, and HD signals as well as the ability to utilize the appropriate test equipment for circuit analysis.
• A can-do attitude and mentality that adopts a positive and motivational approach to engender a culture of professional behavior.
• Well versed in Ethernet routing and protocols.
• Proficient with PC systems, Excel, Word and experience.
• Must be very organized, possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
• Flexible and prepared to learn new skills, embrace and nurture a culture of change and positive attitude.
• Ability to work shifts that will include nights, weekends and holidays
