We are hiring an Electrical Engineer
Reports to: Projects & Engineering Head
Location: Kampala
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and test electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, electrical circuits and equipment instrumentation.
2. Conduct site surveys, assess electrical infrastructure, and provide recommendations.
3. Develop and review electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
4. Ensure compliance with national and international electrical safety standards (NEC, IEC).
5. Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines.
6. Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions on day-to-day operations.
7. Develop and maintain electrical system documentation, manuals, and records.
8. Conduct electrical safety training and audits.
9. Manage electrical projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Education and Professional Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Work Experience
– 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in FMCG industries.
